Congratulations to our 2025 National Online Changemaker cohort on completing an incredible and inspiring journey with Yanalangami.
On Wednesday 25th February, our beautiful Yanalangami sisters from the 2025 cohort officially graduated from the program. We came together for a joyous online graduation ceremony, taking time to reflect on their individual and collective journeys and achievements.
To mark this milestone, our Changemakers were sent graduation packs that included their deadly Yanalangami T-shirts, certificates, self-care goodies from Welcome to Country, and weaving kits.
As part of the online celebration, we were joined by proud Gomeroi Yinaar, 2023 Yanalangami Changemaker and Community Facilitator, La Toya Pinner of Warranggal. La Toya guided us through weaving bracelets and baskets with raffia, and we yarned, laughed, and shared stories together.
It was incredibly powerful to hear how the program has supported our Changemakers to step into their confidence and build strong connections with one another. These stories are a powerful reminder of why this program is so important; creating spaces for our women to reflect, connect, belong, and grow strong communities of support that last well beyond the program ends.
A huge congratulations to our 2025 Yanalangami Changemakers, thank you for walking alongside us on this journey. We can’t wait to see where your leadership journeys will take you next!
