Our Yanalangami Team has been reflecting on the incredible and inspiring journey we had with our 2024 Yanalangami National Online Changemakers!
In February of this year, our deadly Yanalangami sisters from our 2024 cohort officially graduated from the program. We held a powerful and heartwarming online graduation ceremony where we reflected together on our journey.
Our Changemakers were sent a graduation package which included their certificates, and some self-care goodies from Welcome to Country, such as Nagula Jarndu candles and Indigiearth essential oils, along with individual learn to weave kits from Tjanpi weaving.
As part of the online graduation, we were joined by 2023 Yanalangami Changemaker and Community Facilitator, beautiful La Toya Pinner (proud Gomeroi Yinaar) of Warranggal. As we wove bracelets and baskets with our raffia, we yarned, laughed, and reflected on our 10-week journey together and all that we had learned from each other.
